Transport
Alchemy covers the whole of the UK either using our own fleet of vehicles or working with one of our several transport partners.
Alchemy operates our own centrally operated transport fleet from single to double skip lorries, flat-bed 28 foot long rigid vehicles and tailift vehicles including a specialist mini-flat with it’s own lifting equipment. We also hire in and use 40-45’ articulated vehicles as well as other specialist vehicles when required to cover every eventuality.
The Alchemy fleet are fitted with Satellite Tracking, Traffic Master and Mobile Phones enabling us to maintain regular contact with our drivers and in turn regular contact with you.
Collections are either on an as and when required basis or on regular dated collection runs e.g every Friday. All collection details are supplied the day prior to collection, including drivers name, and vehicle registration number. We provide this information for your security checks to ensure that the vehicle you have turn up to take your scrap is the vehicle you were advised and that this information corresponds with the Waste Transfer Note you are left with at the time of collection.
All of our drivers are uniformed and have identity cards.
