Alchemy has a long standing commitment to our customers to ensure they comply with all legislation relating to scrap metal handling, recovery and remelt. As we ensure that our own working environment meets Health & Safety Standards we also provide our customers with specialised containers that are supplied in good condition to ensure that all metal waste is kept safe and secure. Where possible and subject to economics our service is tailored to reduce the handling of scrap metal to a minimum.
The 'Duty of Care' Legislation places the responsibility for the correct disposal of waste firmly on the shoulders of the producer, it is a responsibility that continues even when the material has left the producer's premises. It is therefore reassuring to know that the Alchemy waste management service is conducted in full legislative compliance.
